Corrie, North Ayrshire, is a hamlet on the North West coast of the Isle of Arran. This little place has considerable charm and is the haunt of Scottish artists. Its picturesque white cottages lie near to the mouth of the well-known Glen Sannox. It has a golf course and a small harbour, and, though lying on the main road round the island not far from Brodick, is secluded. Corrie contains in miniature much that is characteristic of West Highland and near-Hebridean scenery.
