Though close to Stansted airport, you'll get a good night's sleep in the peaceful location of Acer Cottage B&B. Our accommodation is only 5 minutes walk from Bishop's Stortford town centre, bus stops, shops and more than 20 restaurants. The railway station is 10 to 15 minutes walk from the cottage, with regular fast trains to London and Cambridge.

We are situated on a regular bus route (308) to Stansted Airport and are within walking distance of the old market town of Bishop's Stortford. The railway station is also close by with easy connection to London, Cambridge and Duxford Aircraft Museum.

Grange Guesthouse in Bishop's Stortford is just 5 miles and 10 minutes by taxi from Stansted Airport. The station is five minutes walk from our B&B and the train journey is 10 minutes also. Whenever your flight we'll make sure you get you there in time. From here you can be in London in 40 minutes and Cambridge in 35.

Appledore House B&B, close to the centre of the pretty market village of Sawbridgeworth, is 4 miles from Bishop's Stortford and Harlow and less than 10 from Stansted Airport. M11, Cambridge and London are easily accessible. Fantastic views of the countryside and the sunsets over the fields. Just two fields away from the Manor of Groves hotel.

1970's box in a quiet village but the pub is good. We are 1 hour's walk from the airport, or 10 minutes if you risk Annie's driving. As for a warm welcome, a good bottle of red wine will help to achieve this. Brian is the artist so he cooks breakfast. Annie just moans about running a B&B, the Tourist Board and previous guests. If you can't find anywhere else, try us if you must!

Though just 1½ miles from the main terminal, you’ll get a good night’s sleep because we are not in the flight path.
