Visit Ewell and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast accommodation:

Ewell, Surrey. A town which has many memories of the past. Nonsuch Park recalls that here was the palace of the same name, begun by Henry VIII and intended to be the finest in all Christendom, It was never finished, and what was built has long since disappeared. However, the fine park remains and is open to the public. There is an old spring, discovered early in the 17th century, also the 18th-century Watch House, once the village lock-up. The castle, now a school, dates only from the nineteenth century. So does Ewell Court. now Council premises, but with gardens open to the public.

The church is also relatively modern, having been built in 1847, hut the tower in the churchyard is old.
