Christ Church is a massive 19^th century building in red sandstone with a spire and high pinnacles. It was designed by Samuel Taylor. Inside are an oak gallery and hammer-beam roof. There are lavish carvings of fruit, flowers and foliage. Panels from New Zealand include a memorial to Seddon.
