Visit Bibury and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast accommodation:

Bibury, Gloucestershire. This Cotswold village attracts many visitors and stands on the busy A433, so it is perhaps best seen late on a summer evening. William Morris described it as “the most beautiful village in England”. The houses are of golden stone. Many cottage gardens face the little River Coin. The early 17th-century cottages of Arlington Row fronting the river are now owned by the National Trust. The old coaching inn the Swan at the end of the river-fronted street, opposite the bridge, leads on to a water garden where the Bibury Spring gushes 2 ½ million gallons of water every 24 hours. Over the bridge is one of the best known trout farms in England.

Bibury church has considerable remains of its Anglo-Saxon original, with Norman and Early English work harmoniously added. Splendid tombs in the churchyard are an indication of Bibury's former wool-based wealth. Just behind the churchyard is the Jacobean Bibury Court with a 1639 wing reputed to be by Inigo Jones.

A little North West of Bibury, and also on the River Coin, is the hamlet of Ablington. The old Manor House dates from 1590 and has a curiously inscribed gabled porch. The manor farm possesses a fine barn. Nearby is a prehistoric long barrow with a beehive chamber.
