Shaldon, Devon. Shaldon is, in its area East from the end of the bridge, very daintily pretty with narrow streets of well-cared for late Georgian and Regency cottages.

East of Shaldon, the Ness Headland is popular, council developed, with a “smugglers” tunnel leading to a beach. A little South, Labrador, of smuggling fame, is a pleasant cove.

About 3 miles West of Shaldon, Coombe Cellars is an attractive place with an inn formerly used by smugglers.
