Pulborough, Sussex. Here stands Parham Park, an Elizabethan mansion which, after various later alterations, has been carefully restored to give it much of its original form. From the beginning of the 17^th century to the early 1920s it was in the ownership of the Bysshops, and a number of portraits of this family are among the collection of paintings on show. Features of the house are the great hall, with unusually tall mullioned windows and a fine plastered ceiling, and the long gallery, 158 ft long and 18 ft wide.

In the grounds stands the Church of St Peter, a basically Perpendicular structure, restored and redecorated in the Gothic style in the 19^th century. The lead font is 14^th-century.
