Lundin Links, Fife. On Largo Bay, adjacent to the town of Largo, Lundin Links is a popular holiday resort with sea fishing and excellent bathing and golfing facilities.
Lundin House was demolished in 1876. However, one tower of an earlier castle on the same site remains, much altered, but originally having the stair and one or two chambers above.
On the western outskirts of Lundin Links are three spectacular standing stones of great antiquity; they are 18 ft, 17 ft, and 13 ft high, and originally they had at least one more, forming a circle believed to have been a Druidical temple.
