Spring Cottage Bed & Breakfast is an old farmhouse and we have retained the period features to make this a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. All bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms have recently been refurbished to the highest standard. We also have secure off-road parking.

Grade II listed Hemington House is situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Hemington, 3 minutes from Junction 24 of the M1 and the A50, 5 minutes from Donington Park Race Circuit and East Midlands Airport. The Cottage which is attached to the house, was originally 'The Old Laundry'. It has since been lovingly restored and converted into a luxurious self contained living space.

Ilkeston, Derbyshire, on high ground above the Erewash Valley, is the third largest town in the county and is only just inside the county boundary. There was an Anglo-Saxon settlement here before the Danes came in the 9th century, but not until the late 19th century did the small village begin to develop into today's industrial town. The oldest building in the town is the Parish Church of St Mary. Although much restored about 100 years ago, parts of the original Norman building can still be seen and there is an unusual l4th century stone screen and a Crusader's tomb. The county cricket club play a number of matches each season in the Rutland Recreation Ground; and Ilkeston retains its links with its past in the annual three-day fair held in the Market Place in October.
