Dornie, Highland, is the name given to the narrows where Loch Duich meets Loch Long. There was formerly a ferry, but a bridge was completed in 1939. Near Dornie village, to the South of the bridge, is Eilean Donan Castle, and from the village a path leads inland to the Falls of Glomach. West Highland scenery of mountain, sea, and loch, is shown here at its finest. There are other places in the West as beautiful as Dornie — but not many.
