Visit Coupar Angus and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast accommodation:
Coupar Angus, Perth and Kinross, is a market town at the centre of an agricultural district.
A Cistercian Abbey (usually the sign of a good agricultural district) was founded at Coupar Angus about 1164, but only part of the gatehouse survives; in the parish church, built on the site of the monastic chapel, are the remains of the nave piers. The Tolbooth Tower dating from 1769 has recently been renovated. Coupar Angus is a good centre for touring and lies on the verge of the Highlands.
