Bury, Greater Manchester. The art gallery at Bury, West, contains the Wrigley Collection which includes works by Constable, Turner, Crome, Cox, de Wint, Canova and Epstein. Thomas Wrigley (portrayed by G. F. Watts), a l9^th century paper-maker and pamphleteer, formed the collection. Bury was the birthplace of Sir Robert Peel, whose statue is in the market place.
