Llangollen is 1/2 a mile distant with a variety of restaurants and a wealth of attractions and activities, including the world famous annual International Eisteddfod, Llangollen Steam Railway and both horse drawn and motorised canal trips. Pontcysyllte aqueduct, recently granted World Heritage status, is just 4 miles away. The surrounding hills provide superb walking or cycling routes, especially the facilities at Coed Llandegla which is just twenty minutes away, and Coed y Brenin which is 1 hour away.
Ty'n y Wern is set in its own grounds of extensive lawned areas with well tended flower beds and trees, and has ample car parking space, providing the ideal setting for you, whether you wish to just relax and enjoy the surroundings, or have a more energetic sight-seeing break in the splendour of North Wales.
We have two double bedrooms and two single bedrooms, all of which are tastefully decorated and equipped to the same high standard, having fully en-suite bathrooms with bath and/or shower. All have remote control flat screen colour television with free-view channels including radio and tele-text, clock/alarm radio with CD player and tea/coffee making facilities.
All rooms have individually controlled central heating radiators. In October 2004, the standards were further enhanced with the introduction of top quality Egyptian Cotton bed linen and luxury towels. All the rooms are on the first floor accessed by one flight of stairs. Ironing facilities are available.
