The Mill Wheel

The Mill Wheel’s accommodation is newly renovated and nestled in a classic rustic Derbyshire village, a superb location just off an “easy-run from the M1 and M42.  Each room has ensuites and is light and bright décor, new furnishings with TV, tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryers and offers home from home surroundings. 

The bar and restaurant has a 28ft working mill wheel located in the bar area and is a 'real must to see'.  The rosette standard Head Chef has a fantastic, mouthwatering menu containing the very best in locally sourced ingredients. His freshly prepared seasonal menu changes monthly and also offers a variety of 'specials dishes' so there is something for everyone.  If you wanted to dine and stay at The Mill Wheel you will have an experience that will make you feel like you’re really pushing the boat out, but priced sensibly so you can feel good about the whole visit.

Apart from all that the Mill Wheel has to offer, it's uniqueness has to be the warm welcome and attention to detail that can only be received from not only a family owned, but a family run business too.
