Whilst at Pendine, visit the Museum of Speed, showing Babs, a world record speed attempt car or wander on the 7 mile stretch of Pendine Sands.
Horse riding is available at Marros and kayak hire nearby.
National trust Property, Colby Lodge, Amroth, is worth a visit or visit the many castles in the area at Carew, Pembroke, Manorbier, Laugharne, Llanstephan or Kidwelly castle near Swansea.St David's and Fishguard are an hour away. Tenby and Saundersfoot are very popular destinations.
