Description

Hallbottom is popular with tourists and busness people alike, whether you are on holiday or working away from home, comfort is so important. I am told by many of my guests they have never slept better!  Some of my business guests walk to work through fantastic countryside and get that much needed exercise if you sit at a desk all day. For the walkers we are within a mile of the \'chiltern way\' and the \'ridgeway\' is under 2 miles away. Transport can be arranged to pick you up to avoid walking those extra miles.

There are many local pubs who all serve delicious inexpensive food in the village, and some superb restaurants with in 10 mins.

The guest sitting room is very comfortable and for those who wish to stay in and have a relaxing evening, there is a great DVD selection with flat screen tv in guest lounge, also many games for guests use. Free wireless internet is available throughout the whole property. There is a microwave and fridge for those who wish to bring a takeaway home, We have Nepalese, chinese, Indian and fish and chip takeaways in the village.  Wine and Beer is available on request.

We also have a self contained flat, beautifully fitted with everything, right down to the last wine glass, which can be let for longer stays.  Prices vary according to length of stay.

Midsomer Murders was filmed in this area. You can follow the trail and get a real flavour of the Series. Also The Vicar of Dibley was filmed in the village of Turville which is only 10 minutes from here.

In the summer months walk straight from the garden down the valley and take in the scenery and wildlife which is in abundance. Or relax in the garden and view the Red Kites soaring above.

A very warm welcome awaits you at Hallbottom farm.
