1970's box in the quiet village of Birchanger but the pub is good. As for a warm welcome, a good bottle of red wine will help to achieve this. Brian is the artist so he cooks breakfast. Annie just moans about running a B&B, the Tourist Board and previous guests. If you can't find anywhere else, try us if you must!
Oh and the rooms have designer wall paper on the walls!, a beverage tray( we can be quite posh), free wifi, blackout blinds you won't hear or see a thing, independant thermostatically controlled radiators, freeview t.v.
If you smoke we put you out into the garden, or if you like gardens you are welcome to just sit in the garden, where we can serve you your breakfast (recommend summer only). Brians paintings hang all over the house for guests to see and buy, every thing is for sale. If you are in a bit of a hurry to get away in the morning we are very close to j8 M11 north for Cambridge and south for the M25, and 10mins to Stansted airport.
